The long dark green thorns with occasional very small leaves in between them.

Colletia armata 'Rosea' is an unusual, very slow growing ornamental plant which makes an eye-catching addition to a sunny garden!

  • Position: Sheltered in full sun or light, dappled shade.
  • Soil: Well drained soil.
  • Hardiness: Frost tender. Colletia armata is best grown in mild areas with shelter from cold winds. It will also do well in a large container in most gardens which can be moved into a protected areas in the winter.
