An unusual, twining, deciduous climber native to parts of China and the Himalayas, Schisandra rubriflora has deep-crimson flowers nearly 2 - 3 cm wide in early summer. The leaves are a lovely cool green.

A choice and beautiful climber for a shady wall or climbing through a tree in a woodland garden.
