(Cut-leaved Black Elder) New to us, this is a hardy, deciduous, compact, small to medium sized shrub with deeply cut, purple-red leaves and lovely wide clusters of creamy-pink flowers in summer.

A stunning garden shrub that can also be grown well in a large container. Can be pruned yearly to keep to a size if required.
