With its attractive foliage and elegant habit, Pyrus salicifolia 'Pendula' is the perfect, silver-leaved tree to grow as a host for blue clematis or pink climbing roses. Pretty white flowers in May are followed by small, tough, pear-like fruit in late summer.

An elegant weeping tree once established and very hardy; suitable for almost all situations. An interesting addition to the formal garden where it can easily be trained into geometric shapes. Most suitable for a sunny position and a soil with good drainage.
