(Golden Oriental Spruce) A spectacular, conical evergreen small tree with has lovely golden-yellow coloured young shoots in spring which turn dark green later in the year.

The slightly drooping branchlets give this a lovely, pendulous appearance and an established specimen makes a splendid, architectural addition to a garden.

Mature plants develop long slender cones, green initially turning bronze-brown as they dry and age. Best foliage colour when planted in a position with plenty of sun.
