Parrotia persica 'Persian Spire'

A new and unusual selection of Ironwood, Parrotia persica 'Persian Spire' has a narrow, upright habit once established and excellent orange, red and purple autumn colour. The summer leaves are dark green gradually developing a purple margin as the year goes on.

Parrotia persica 'Persian Spire' will give its best display of autumn colour when planted in a sunny position and the narrow, upright habit makes it suitable for smaller gardens where a more traditional Parrotia may spread to much.
