(Evergreen Magnolia) New to us, Magnolia laevifolia 'Velvet and Cream' is an elegant tall evergreen shrub with masses of fragrant white flowers emerging in Spring. The leaves are dark green in colour with a light brown underside.

Suited to a position in sun or dappled shade with shelter from strong winds. Can be grown in a large container in a sheltered, favourable area.
