Magnolia sargentiana var robusta 'Blood Moon' is a fairly vigorous Magnolia, growing to be a medium sized deciduous tree with masses of large medium to rich pink flowers, usually before the leaves emerge in Spring.

Dark green oval leaves. Upright conical habit when young, rounding once mature. Flowers are typically darker pink than the classic Magnolia sargentiana var robusta.

Best in a position sheltered from strong wind with sun or light, dappled shade.
