(Tulip Tree) A majestic tree native to North America, Liriodendron tulipifera has colourful flowers once established and large, spade-like, green leaves which turn butter-yellow in autumn before falling. The bark of established specimens develops a smoky-purple hue.

When mature it has masses of pretty yellow-green, tulip-like flowers on the branches(hence the trees common name).

A magnificent specimen tree suited for larger gardens and areas with plenty of space.
