Hydrangea longipes ‘Trelissick’

New to us, Hydrangea longipes ‘Trelissick’ is an unusual, deciduous medium-sized shrub with clusters of dainty white flowers in early summer surrounded but eye-catching large, white ray florets. The leaves are narrow and fairly soft.

Most suited to a position sheltered from strong winds in light, dappled shade.

• Position: Full sun or partial shade.
• Soil: Moist yet well drained, fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Reasonably hardy. Avoid planting in cold, exposed areas.
• Flowering Period: late May - June
• Rate of Growth: Moderate.
• Habit: Hydrangea longipes ‘Trelissick’ grows to be a medium sized branching, rounded shrub.
