A handsome, versatile, deciduous climber which has fresh-green leaves and masses of lovely white lacecap-style flower clusters, up to 25cm (10 inches) across in early summer.

When established, this makes a stunning, self-clinging wall plant but it can also grow as an unusual ground cover plant in the absence of a support up which to climb.

Although this enjoys a sunny position it also thrives it quite dark, shady areas making it perfect for covering an old wall or fence.
