(Needle bush) Unusual in the UK, Hakea lissosperma is native to parts of Southern Australia and Tasmania and grows to be a medium-sized, upright evergreen shrub with slender, leathery, needle-like leaves.

Clusters of attractive, long white flowers appear at the end of the branches in early summer.

Most suited to a warm, sunny position with shelter from strong winds.
