Native to Korea and Manchuria, we are amazed that this lovely flowering tall shrub or small tree remains unusual in cultivation.

The superb pure-white, 3 cm diameter flowers are produced freely at the first hint of spring and here remain unaffected by late frosts.

A sought after garden plant for spring flowers.
