(Spindleberry) An unusual deciduous openly branching shrub native to parts of China which has distinctive pink fruit in autumn which resemble jesters caps that split to reveal orange seed. These eye-catching fruit follow delicate purple-green flowers which appear in early summer. The eaves are mid green in colour.

A very ornamental shrub which gives a superb display of ornamental fruit once established. Can be grown in a large container.
