A very rare, early flowering selection of Davidia which flowers and produces a number of spectacular white bracts at only two or three years old. Four to six year old specimens have masses of flower bracts.

As these Davidia involucrata 'Sonoma' are still young we would strongly advise that they be container grown for around 9 - 12 months before being planted out.

This expensive and valuable plant is best suited to an experienced gardener with plenty of time to look after it.
