Unusual rare shrub or eventually small tree, Crataegus punctata aurea has serrated, dark green leaves and very ornamental, large, golden yellow berries in late summer / autumn. The leaves have yellow and orange autumn tints.

These berries are very eye-catching and may develop a reddish tinge in the sun.

An attractive, choice garden plant with colourful berries, good for wildlife.
