Cornus kousa 'Greensleeves'

A reasonably vigorous large shrub or eventually very small tree once established with masses of eye-catching white bracts in early summer which stand out well against the vibrant dark green leaves.

The leaves turn shades of purple and orange before falling in autumn. In a warm summer, large pink-red fruit will develop in late summer. 

Grows well in a large container.

• Habit: Cornus kousa 'Greensleeves' grows to be a large shrub or eventually small tree, upright initially spreading once more established.

• Notes: The flowering of this Cornus is somewhat dependent upon the previous years summer weather. After a long hot summer, the following years flowering will be magnificent and after a cold, wet summer the following years flowering will be poor or sporadic.
