(Flowering Dogwood) New to us, this is a stunning upright shrub or eventually very small branching tree with masses of creamy-white flower bracts in early summer which gradually turn pale pink as they age.

This is deciduous and the summer leaves are dark green in colour with orange and purple autumn tints before they fall in October.

Usually has the best flower bract display once established when planted in a position with plenty of sun. Can be grown well in a large container if required. Originally selected at Marwood Hill Gardens in Devon
