(Japanese Quince) Native to eastern Asia, Chaenomeles speciosa 'Apple Blossom' has lush, dark green leaves and in late winter or early spring, masses of lovely white flowers with a pink flush covering the stems. The sensational display of flowers, lasting for several weeks early in the year more then makes up for this and Chaenomeles is a worthy addition to a flowering border in nearly any garden!

Although tolerant of shade, best flowers in a position with plenty of sunlight. Can be grown well in a large container.

Pruned back to 30 - 40 cm tall in autumn.
