(Sweetshrub) New to us, Calycanthus 'Venus' is an unusual small to medium sized shrub with large, fragrant white Magnolia-like flowers with the central petals maroon purple at the base.

These flowers appear in early to mid summer with occasional sporadic flowers seen in late summer. Leaves are bright green in colour.

Calycanthus 'Venus' is a delightful shrub suitable for gardens of most sizes and woodland areas. Grows well in a large container.
