Description

A tall tree, Alnus glutinosa has light green, oval leaves and yellow catkins in spring. Ideal for areas with wet, boggy ground this is a fast growing tree for woodland planting and for use in windbreaks.

• Soil: Any fertile soil. Alnus glutinosa grows well in damp or wet sites.
• Hardiness: Hardy.

• Spread: 10 m (32 ft).
• Notes: Available to order from November to February only.
