Description
an elegant, rare tree native to parts of China, Korea and Japan,
Carpinus cordata has large deeply veined, bright green leaves which show some attractive autumn colours in a good year. Once established it will have large catkins and attractive, fluted, silver-grey bark. This tends to be quite densely-branched and can make a good, ornamental screening tree.
