A lovely rare shrub, Stachyurus chinensis 'Celina' has long, stiffly pendulous, racemes of soft-yellow flowers in late winter or early spring. The flowers are very pretty and complimented by dark, purple-brown stems and dark green leaves which can turn crimson in autumn before falling.
